Emphasize iterative development, measurable velocity, code quality, and transparent communication. Drive the team toward delivering discovery, governance, and remediation capabilities that meet enterprise customer requirements for credential lifecycle management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, Security, and Compliance teams to define optimal solutions for both internal and external customers. Collaborate with GTM, Customer Success, and other engineering teams to ensure Managed Credentials addresses real enterprise pain points and drives adoption and retention.
Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to developers within your team and across the broader engineering organization. Coach individual contributors toward their full potential, helping them develop expertise in fullstack web development, secure credential governance, and enterprise authentication systems. Foster technical excellence while maintaining team morale.
Talent Acquisition and Retention: Recruit, hire, and retain top-tier engineering talent in a fast-growing environment. Work collaboratively with other Engineering Managers to refine hiring processes, onboarding programs, and professional development initiatives. Build a highly specialized team capable of scaling services and maintaining 1Password's security and quality standards.
Team Culture and Environment: Create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment where all members feel supported, encouraged, and meaningfully challenged to achieve excellence. Promote collaboration, transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with 1Password's core values of simplicity, honesty, and putting people first.
Scaling and Process Improvement: Lead team scaling initiatives, helping the team grow both in capability and in the services they own. Work across the engineering organization to refine hiring, onboarding, and development processes that support rapid, sustainable growth while maintaining security posture and code quality.
