Summary

This Engineering Lead position at Airwallex focuses on leading the Data DevOps team in Singapore, responsible for building scalable data infrastructure and self-service platforms for data engineering and analytics teams. The role requires 6+ years of experience with expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps, plus team leadership experience in a fast-growing fintech environment.

What you'll do

Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers based in Singapore

Data Infrastructure Design: Design and implement robust and scalable data infrastructure tailored to meet different needs of the engineering team

Self-Service Platform Development: Design and develop scalable software applications or systems that provide good self-service capabilities and ensure robust architecture and maintainability

Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance to identify and rectify errors, ensuring software aligns with quality standards and functions effectively

System Maintenance: Perform ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting for deployed software, implementing updates and enhancements to improve functionality and address evolving needs

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery

Continuous Learning: Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of emerging technologies, programming languages, and development methodologies
