The role

Summary

Senior IT Engineer specializing in Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) workflows at Airwallex, a global fintech company. This role focuses on building automation, AI implementations, and technical solutions for legal operations while serving as the primary IT liaison for LRC teams across multiple countries.

What you'll do

LRC Team Partnership: Serve as primary IT engineer for Legal, Risk & Compliance teams, understanding workflows and building scalable improvement models

Workflow Automation: Build complex workflows and orchestrations using low-code/no-code tools (Workato, Okta Workflows, Zapier)

AI Implementation: Design and implement AI solutions with focus on legal operations, including Harvey.ai integration and custom AI portfolio development

API Integration: Work with APIs across major vendors including Okta, Google, GCP, and Aliyun for system integrations

Legal Application Management: Build, enhance and serve as technical owner for legal applications (Ironclad, Auditboard, Google Workspace)

Service Desk Management: Manage and build service desks using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence) for efficient ticket handling

Full Lifecycle Ownership: Own complete lifecycle of features and products from proof-of-concept through implementation to operations

Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with INFOSEC, People Ops, Engineering and IT teams to build globally scalable systems

Platform Integration: Integrate tools with cloud platforms and SaaS portfolio including SFDC, Slack, and Google services

Custom Solutions Development: Build and maintain custom tools or services when off-the-shelf solutions are insufficient

Incident Response: Respond to incidents as part of on-call roster and handle emergency situations

Documentation Management: Write comprehensive documentation and maintain solution diagrams for team understanding

Continuous Improvement: Constantly learn, test, evaluate and enhance products and offerings to prevent stagnation

Workflow OrchestrationExpert knowledge of workflow tools and orchestration platforms like Workato

Programming SkillsExperience with Python programming and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

API IntegrationProficiency working with APIs and integrating various vendor systems into tech stack

Cloud InfrastructureExperience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and understanding of cloud architecture

Education

Bachelor's DegreeBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field

Experience

Senior-Level Experience5+ years of relevant experience in similar IT engineering or systems integration role
