Responsibilities
- AI Developer Tools Development: Build and own new AI developer tools like Airwallex's Developer MCP tool, agent development toolkits, and direct integrations with other AI platforms
- Strategic Roadmap Planning: Stay on top of evolving developer trends and tooling to design product strategy roadmap for the team
- API and SDK Optimization: Identify improvement opportunities for Client APIs, SDKs, Product Documentation, Webhooks, Simulation APIs, and developer portal tools
- Developer Community Engagement: Advocate for and engage with the developer community, driving developer advocacy and growth for AI developer tools
- Cross-functional Communication: Communicate product strategy effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze complex problems with attention to detail, using data and first-principle insights to guide decisions

What you’ll do
The Developer Experience team exists to build a world-class developer experience for Airwallex’s global customer base. Finding and building elegant solutions to helping developers navigate and build in a deeply complex space will be key to success. The successful candidate will need to work closely with product and engineering teams across all of the financial products and services we support, along with partners from key support functions. Importantly, having a deep appreciation for our customers' business will ensure the team’s ongoing success.
AI-assisted development has quickly become a norm for the industry. As the Senior Product Manager you will have a particular focus on bringing Airwallex capabilities closer to the environments that developers and vibe-coders operate in, making it easier for developers to integrate with Airwallex and delight customers.
This role is based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
Build and own new AI developer tools like Airwallex’s Developer MCP tool, agent development toolkits, and direct integrations with other AI platforms to facilitate easier testing and integration with Airwallex.
Stay on top of the evolving trend for developers’ ways of working, tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, N8N etc.) and design the product strategy roadmap for the team.
Identify what needs to improve with our current Client APIs, including SDKs, Product Documentation, Webhooks, Simulation APIs, and developer portal tools.
Advocate for and engage with the developer community, driving developer advocacy and growth, and drive adoption for the AI developer tools we ship.
Communicate product strategy effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analyze complex problems with attention to detail, using data and first-principle insights to guide decisions.
