What you'll do

Business Requirements Analysis: Analyze business requirements and translate them into machine learning problems

End-to-End ML Development: Work on data engineering, feature engineering, model training, and deployment

Issue Identification & Solutions: Identify issues and propose effective solutions through regular analysis

ML Platform Development: Develop machine learning platforms and tools to streamline ML workflows at Airwallex

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply models that solve business problems

Risk Model Implementation: Build industry-leading model systems for international payment risk domain

Business Impact Delivery: Deliver measurable business impact through end-to-end ML solutions

What we look for

Technical

ML Libraries ExperienceAt least 3+ years experience with common ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras

Programming ProficiencyProficient in coding languages such as Python and SQL

Payment Risk ExperienceExperience in payment risk or international e-commerce risk (preferred)

LLM ApplicationsExperience in applying LLMs to real-time risk management (preferred)

Education

Bachelor's DegreeBachelor's or above degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Experience

ML Engineering ExperienceMinimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks
