Summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead their new Generative AI team within the Global Treasury Payment Network (GTPN), focusing on building cutting-edge AI-driven solutions for internal automation and customer-facing products. The role requires 5+ years of backend development experience with AI focus, expertise in LLMs, and the ability to design large-scale distributed systems in Singapore's fintech hub.

What you'll do

AI Solution Development: Build end-to-end AI-driven solutions that enable business growth and drive internal efficiency across Airwallex operations

System Architecture Design: Design and implement robust API and system architecture for new AI applications, ensuring scalability and reliability

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across global regions to bring AI solutions to life

Technical Innovation Leadership: Shape the underlying architecture and APIs for advanced systems, setting best practices and establishing foundation for expanding AI portfolio

LLM Integration: Develop and deploy customer-facing and internal products leveraging large language models for automation and support

Distributed Systems Engineering: Build efficient, large-scale distributed systems with high concurrency, load capacity, and availability requirements

Code Quality Assurance: Write high-quality, maintainable code while mentoring team members and conducting thorough code reviews

Product-Focused Development: Embrace product-focused mindset to solve complex technical challenges in fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment

Backend AI Development5+ years in backend software development with specific focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning

Education
