The role

Summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Infrastructure AI team to pioneer an innovative AI agent ecosystem that autonomously manages infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will design and build goal-oriented AI agents that can execute complex DevOps, SRE, and database management tasks across Airwallex's global infrastructure using advanced autonomous systems.

What you'll do

AI Agent Development: Design and implement autonomous infrastructure agents on the Quartermaster platform for SRE, DevOps, and database operations

Agent Architecture: Create robust agent systems with advanced planning, reasoning, and safety mechanisms

Tool Integration: Develop interfaces for agents to interact with Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud APIs, and monitoring platforms

Performance Evaluation: Define and measure metrics for agent effectiveness and reliability

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to identify and automate high-value infrastructure workflows

Innovation: Contribute to the technical vision of AI-driven infrastructure operations
