Summary

AKASA is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their innovative AI-driven healthcare technology team. The role focuses on developing Advisor, an AI assistant for revenue cycle teams, with opportunities to shape AI-augmented engineering practices and directly impact healthcare technology solutions.

What you'll do

Feature Development: Design, implement, test, and deploy production features for Advisor using Python backend and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend
Collaborative Innovation: Work with product, clinical subject matter experts, and revenue cycle teams to rapidly iterate and validate product hypotheses
AI Integration: Utilize Claude Code as a development collaborator, prompting, reviewing, and integrating AI-generated code
API Development: Design and implement integrations with external APIs for medical data and evidence, ensuring correctness and auditability
Testing and Delivery: Maintain robust testing culture with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, and support continuous delivery via Docker and Kubernetes
Communication: Clearly communicate technical ideas through design proposals, PR descriptions, and cross-functional conversations
