The role

Summary

Alan is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to build the Global Offer Builder system, a critical infrastructure that enables sales teams to create competitive, compliant insurance offerings across multiple European markets. The ideal candidate will develop scalable backend systems that drive Alan's healthcare technology innovation and support multi-country growth.

What you'll do

Offer Configuration Development: Build and enhance the offer configuration, pricing, and builder tooling that serves as the core of Alan's growth engine across multiple European markets.
Competitive Strategy Implementation: Develop solutions to improve pricing competitiveness, focusing on reducing pricing gaps and maintaining disciplined loss ratios.
Multi-Country Expansion Support: Migrate and standardize the Offer Builder stack across different countries, ensuring scalable and adaptable infrastructure for new market entries.
Sales Enablement Tools: Create the 'Sales Cockpit' to empower sales teams with improved offer creation capabilities, reducing dependencies on specialized expertise.
System Reliability: Consolidate and improve the reliability of the builder system, focusing on reducing fragmentation and improving internal usability.

Backend DevelopmentMinimum 3+ years of experience building scalable backend systems
High-Traffic Application ExperienceProven track record with applications that serve real-world user needs

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
