Summary

Articul8 is seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to drive innovation in enterprise-grade Generative AI. The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems that support the company's cutting-edge AI platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure and deliver transformative AI solutions for regulated industries.

What you'll do

Backend System Design: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems with a focus on high availability, low latency, and cost-effectiveness.
Infrastructure Architecture: Serve as the subject matter expert in infrastructure, designing new product capabilities and introducing innovative technologies to the existing product line.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering and research teams to integrate infrastructure components with product features, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.
Event-Driven Architecture: Design and develop event-driven architectures, APIs, and microservices to support real-time processing and analytics.
System Reliability: Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability through comprehensive monitoring, logging, and advanced error handling mechanisms.
Technology Innovation: Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies, applying cutting-edge knowledge to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
Team Development: Participate in code reviews, contribute to open-source projects, and mentor junior engineers to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.

What we look for

Technical

Cloud PlatformsExtensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure
Programming LanguagesProficiency in Python, Node.js, Go, or Ruby with strong software development skills
Backend FrameworksExperience with Django, Flask, FastAPI, Spring Boot, or Express.js
Database TechnologiesAdvanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
API DevelopmentExpertise in REST and GraphQL API design and implementation

Education
