Summary

Articul8 is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to drive innovation in enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems that support the company's cutting-edge AI platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure and deliver robust technological solutions.

What you'll do

Backend System Design: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems with a focus on high availability, low latency, and cost-effectiveness.
Infrastructure Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert in infrastructure, guiding product design and technology integration for the existing product line.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering and research teams to integrate infrastructure components with product features, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.
Architecture Development: Design event-driven architectures and develop APIs and microservices to support real-time processing and analytics.
System Reliability: Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability through comprehensive monitoring, logging, and error handling mechanisms.
Technology Advancement: Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies, applying new knowledge to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
Team Development: Participate in code reviews, contribute to open-source projects, and mentor junior engineers.

What we look for

Technical

Cloud PlatformsExtensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure
Programming LanguagesProficiency in Python, Node.js, Go, or Ruby with strong CI/CD and version control skills
Backend FrameworksExperience with Django, Flask, FastAPI, Spring Boot, or Express.js
Database ManagementAdvanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
API DevelopmentExpert-level understanding of REST and GraphQL API design

Education

Minimum RequirementBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
