Summary

A hands-on Engineering Manager role at Cursor focused on Developer Productivity, responsible for building world-class development environments and tools that enhance engineering efficiency across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will lead technical initiatives to streamline development workflows, automate infrastructure, and create seamless CI/CD systems while maintaining a strong engineering presence.

What you'll do

Developer Environment Development: Build and maintain a multi-platform development environment compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux

CI/CD Systems Management: Design and maintain continuous integration and deployment systems including merge queues, build caching, test quarantine, and observability pipelines

Automation Infrastructure: Automate developer machine provisioning, including laptop setup, reset workflows, and onboarding processes

Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with backend and infrastructure teams to ensure consistent local testing and debugging environments

Team Development: Lead talent acquisition, interviewing, and team growth through strategic hiring, coaching, and mentorship
