Summary

Cursor is seeking a Software Engineer for its Services Platform team, focusing on building robust infrastructure abstractions that enable scalable, reliable software development. The ideal candidate will create platform-level primitives that improve developer experience and production reliability, working at the intersection of infrastructure and engineering productivity.

What you'll do

Platform Infrastructure Development: Build platform-level primitives that create sustainable engineering systems and prevent brittle infrastructure

Workflow Orchestration: Establish durable workflow orchestration standards and shared abstractions for reliable, long-running workflows

Service Configuration Framework: Design declarative service configuration systems that streamline service provisioning, deployment, and operations

Service Ownership Definition: Create comprehensive service ownership contracts and service catalogues to enable rapid incident resolution

Technical

Internal Developer PlatformsProven experience building infrastructure abstractions and developer platforms

Workflow OrchestrationExtensive experience with Temporal or similar durable workflow engines

Deployment ToolingStrong background in CI/CD pipelines and service mesh architectures

Education
