The role

Summary

Docker is seeking a Corporate Security Engineer to lead and mature the company's identity infrastructure, endpoint security, and compliance programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT Operations and GRC teams to design and implement robust security controls across Docker's corporate ecosystem, leveraging advanced identity and access management techniques.

What you'll do

Identity and Access Management: Own and continuously improve Docker's Identity and Access Management infrastructure, including SSO, MFA enforcement, lifecycle management, and access governance
SaaS Security Governance: Discover, map inventory, and conduct security reviews on third-party integrations, driving security improvements across the SaaS application ecosystem
Endpoint Security: Define and enforce device compliance policies across the corporate device fleet, owning the end-to-end compliant device experience
Zero Trust Implementation: Mature a Zero Trust security model across corporate infrastructure, enforcing conditional access based on identity
Compliance and Documentation: Maintain IT security evidence and documentation supporting compliance with SOC2 and ISO 27xxx standards

Identity ManagementDeep hands-on expertise with Enterprise IdP (SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, groups, API automation)
Scripting and AutomationProficiency in scripting languages like Golang, Python, Bash, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
Security ProtocolsSolid understanding of OAuth, SAML, OIDC, and modern identity and access patterns

Education

CybersecurityBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field preferred

Experience

IT Systems Engineering6+ years in IT systems engineering with emphasis on automation and security best practices
Compliance FrameworksExperience with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or ISO 27xxx

Google Workspace AdministrationStrong experience securing Google Workspace at an admin level
MDM SolutionsExperience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and endpoint hardening
Cross-functional CommunicationAbility to work effectively with GRC, IT, legal, and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

Zero TrustExperience with Zero-Trust Network Access solutions (ZTNA) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tooling
Identity PracticesExperience implementing Just-in-Time (JIT) access patterns and identity-as-code practices
