Summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a skilled Virtualization Engineer II to optimize and maintain their critical infrastructure supporting a leading telehealth platform. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing virtualized environments across VMware, HyperV, Azure, and AWS, with a focus on ensuring high availability, performance, and security for the company's innovative healthcare technology infrastructure.

What you'll do

Infrastructure Design: Create and implement server and system architecture across VMware, HyperV, Azure, and AWS cloud platforms
System Monitoring: Ensure VM and network systems' correct operation, maintaining high availability and performance
Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures, conduct infrastructure assessments, and ensure compliance in healthcare context
Documentation: Build and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and internal reference documentation
Technical Leadership: Guide junior engineers, optimize network infrastructure, and contribute to architectural decisions

Technical

Virtualization5+ years of data center, server, and storage engineering experience
Cloud InfrastructureExpertise in AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure
SecurityIn-depth understanding of infrastructure and server security in healthcare contexts

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

Experience

Server DesignExperience with server design, data center architecture, and server topology
Virtualization AuditsExperience in VMware Audits, Utilization, and NIC teaming
