The role

Summary

Notable is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive cloud infrastructure and application development for their healthcare AI platform. The ideal candidate will design and implement robust, scalable infrastructure solutions that support Notable's mission of transforming healthcare workforce productivity through innovative technology.

What you'll do

DevOps Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive DevOps strategies and continuous delivery pipelines across cross-functional agile teams
Infrastructure Design: Design and build scalable infrastructure to support existing and upcoming healthcare AI platform products
Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance infrastructure reliability, security, and engineering velocity while addressing system scalability challenges
Automation Development: Identify and implement new technologies to improve infrastructure automation and operational efficiency
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for infrastructure setup and establish best practices for the engineering team

What we look for

Technical

Cloud PlatformsExtensive hands-on experience with AWS or GCP cloud systems, including incident response and management
Infrastructure as CodeProficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
ContainerizationRecent hands-on experience with containerized deployments using Kubernetes
ScriptingStrong scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, NodeJS, or Go

Education

DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Work ExperienceMinimum 8+ years of relevant infrastructure and cloud engineering experience
DevOps PracticeProven experience in automating build, test, package, release, and configuration management processes
