Patreon is seeking a talented Android Engineer to help build and enhance their creator platform, supporting the mission of funding the creative class. The role involves developing scalable mobile features that empower creators, working in a hybrid environment in New York or San Francisco with a focus on innovative, product-minded engineering solutions.

What you'll do

Android Feature Development: Own and deliver well-scoped Android product feature milestones that help creators create content on Patreon
Technical Design: Drive technical design of scalable, well-tested, and maintainable software components
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features
Innovation Leadership: Champion innovative solutions to enhance usability and engagement with discovery features

What we look for

Technical

Mobile Development3+ years of mobile software development experience
Programming LanguageProficiency in Kotlin for Android development
Web TechnologiesExperience with modern web technologies, specifically REST APIs

Education

Academic BackgroundBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
