Summary

PermitFlow is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to drive data infrastructure and business intelligence within their innovative construction technology platform. The ideal candidate will design scalable data models, build robust data pipelines, and collaborate across teams to deliver actionable insights that support the company's mission of transforming the construction permitting process.

What you'll do

Data Infrastructure Design: Design and implement scalable data models optimized for analytics and company-wide reporting, continuously refining to meet evolving business needs
Data Pipeline Development: Build and maintain efficient data pipelines to transform datasets for analytics, ensuring performance and reliability
Data Integration: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate data from multiple sources including CRM, third-party vendors, and internal systems
Data Governance: Implement robust data governance practices to ensure data consistency, quality, security, and compliance
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to deliver analytics solutions, develop dashboards, and provide training on data tools and best practices
Data Stack Management: Manage and optimize PermitFlow's data stack to support scalable reporting and actionable business insights

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field preferred
AnalyticsAdvanced degree or specialized certification in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence is a plus

Experience

Analytics EngineeringMinimum 3 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data analytics roles
Data WarehousingDemonstrated experience in building scalable data warehouses and analytics platforms
