Summary

PermitFlow is seeking a New Grad Fullstack Software Engineer to join their innovative AI-powered construction technology platform. The ideal candidate will help transform complex permitting workflows into seamless software experiences, working across frontend, backend, and data layers to drive technological innovation in the construction industry.

What you'll do

AI-Driven Workflow Transformation: Convert complex, manual permitting processes into streamlined, AI-enabled software experiences
Full-Stack Development: Design and implement backend and frontend services, APIs, and data pipelines to support AI-driven workflows
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Customer Success, and Sales teams to develop and deliver intelligent, user-facing features
End-to-End Feature Ownership: Manage features comprehensively from architecture and implementation through testing and production deployment
Engineering Culture: Contribute to establishing engineering best practices and fostering a culture of technical excellence

What we look for

Technical

Frontend TechnologiesProficiency in React and TypeScript
Backend TechnologiesExperience with Node.js and server-side development
Database SkillsKnowledge of Postgres and database management

Education

Graduation RequirementMust have a graduation date within 12 months of applying, or already graduated

Experience

Development ExperienceStrong fullstack development background, preferably from a startup or fast-moving team environment
Production SystemsTrack record of shipping production systems with thoughtful performance and scalability considerations
