Summary

PostHog is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join their Platform UX team, focusing on creating pixel-perfect, high-velocity frontend experiences. The ideal candidate will blend exceptional design intuition with robust engineering skills, capable of building complex UI components, leveraging AI tools, and delivering exceptional user experiences in an autonomous, fast-paced remote environment.

What you'll do

UI Component Development: Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated, reusable UI components with high performance and accessibility standards

Design System Creation: Build and evolve a comprehensive design system that enables rapid, consistent UI development across the platform

User Experience Optimization: Identify and resolve UX friction points, continuously improving product usability and user satisfaction

AI-Augmented Development: Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, automate repetitive tasks, and explore innovative solutions

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate design concepts into high-quality, implementable interfaces
