The role

Summary

Railway is seeking a Developer Relations professional to drive community engagement, product adoption, and developer ecosystem growth for their cloud infrastructure platform. The ideal candidate will be a technical communicator who can bridge the gap between product capabilities and developer needs, helping to shape the future of development tools.

What you'll do

Developer Feedback Collection: Implement comprehensive programs to gather and analyze developer feedback, translating insights into actionable product improvements
Community Ecosystem Development: Build and refine product adoption strategies through targeted content creation, community nurturing, and user experience optimization
Open Source Initiatives Support: Assist the team in advancing open-source efforts, including CLI, Nixpacks, and Template development and promotion
Educational Content Creation: Develop technical resources and educational materials that demonstrate Railway's capabilities across various programming languages and deployment scenarios

DevOps KnowledgeStrong understanding of modern DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure trends

Education

Technical DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Developer RelationsPrevious experience in developer advocacy, technical evangelism, or similar community-facing technical roles
Startup EnvironmentDemonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-autonomy startup environments
