The role

Summary

Replit seeks an Engineering Manager for UX to build and scale a frontend team focused on creating next-generation AI user interfaces. This role requires 4+ years of engineering management experience with deep React and CSS expertise, combining technical leadership with people management to define UI framework strategy and deliver accessible software creation experiences.

What you'll do

Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and grow a team of frontend engineers, reinforcing Replit's culture of UI excellence and craft
Technical Vision: Define the technical vision and strategy for building and extending user interface frameworks to help Replit ship high-quality user experiences quickly
Cross-Team Collaboration: Engage design and product engineering teams to understand, triage, and prioritize requirements
AI UX Strategy: Set an ambitious vision for the future of AI user interfaces and help the team sequence steps to make it a reality
Design Consultation: Help the Design team tastefully refine designs by taking into account technical constraints, timelines, and resources
Product Quality: Use deep understanding of technology, product, and UI to increase quality, performance, and usage of Replit's most important surfaces
