The role
Summary
Snowflake is seeking an Account Engineer to accelerate customer journey from acquisition to successful platform adoption. This role combines technical expertise with strategic advisory, helping new customers achieve rapid implementation and value realization on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud platform.
What you'll do
Portfolio Management: Manage critical portfolio of new and early-stage customers, acting as single point of contact for technical success
Technical Advisory: Serve as trusted strategic advisor providing guidance on data strategy and technology stack integration
Platform Implementation: Drive rapid implementation and quick value realization for customer use cases on Snowflake platform
Architectural Guidance: Provide Snowflake-specific foundational guidance including best practices, workload isolation, and security setup
AI-Powered Solutions: Leverage cutting-edge AI-powered development tools and automation to accelerate solutions delivery
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Account Teams, Professional Services, Support, and external partners for seamless resource orchestration
Program Development: Create and deliver reusable programs such as Hands-on Labs and webinars for customer education
Product Feedback: Act as key feedback loop from field to influence future product development with Product Management and Engineering teams
Technical Support: Efficiently triage customer inquiries, assist with demos, troubleshooting, and identify expansion opportunities
Consumption Growth: Drive customer consumption metrics and platform adoption for sustained growth

SQL ProficiencyHands-on experience with SQL is required for data querying and analysis
Cloud PlatformsStrong understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Data ArchitectureFoundational understanding of data architecture and analytics concepts
Project ManagementAbility to track, manage, and drive customers to agreed-upon timelines
Education
University DegreeBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience
Experience
Technical BackgroundPractical experience in technical roles with data and analytics
Communication SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse technical audiences
Growth MindsetStrong desire to learn and become expert in Snowflake platform
Multi-Project ManagementAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills
