Summary

Snowflake is seeking an Account Engineer to serve as a technical bridge between sales and customer success, driving platform adoption for new customers in Sydney. This full-stack technical role combines cloud data architecture expertise with strategic advisory capabilities, helping customers implement Snowflake's AI Data Cloud while leveraging modern AI-powered tools to accelerate solutions.

What you'll do

Strategic Account Management: Take ownership of technical success and consumption trajectory within assigned portfolio of new customers

Technical Advisory: Serve as trusted strategic advisor providing guidance on data strategy and technology stack integration

Platform Implementation: Drive rapid implementation and quick value realization for customers on Snowflake AI Data Cloud

Architectural Guidance: Provide customers with Snowflake-specific foundational guidance including best practices and security setup

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Account Teams, Professional Services, and Support to ensure seamless resource orchestration

Program Development: Create and deliver reusable programs such as Hands-on Labs and webinars for customer education

Customer Support Triage: Efficiently triage customer inquiries, assist with demos, and troubleshoot technical issues

Product Feedback: Act as feedback loop from field to influence future product development with Product Management teams

AI-Powered Solutions: Leverage cutting-edge AI-powered development tools to accelerate solutions and implementation guidance

Performance Tracking: Drive adoption metrics and consumption growth within assigned accounts

Technical

SQL ProficiencyHands-on experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation is required

Cloud PlatformsStrong understanding of major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud

Data ArchitectureFoundational understanding of data architecture and analytics concepts

Project ManagementAbility to track, manage, and drive customers to agreed-upon timelines

Education

University DegreeDegree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields

Equivalent ExperienceEquivalent practical experience in a technical role accepted in lieu of degree
