Summary

Snowflake's Regulatory & Sovereign Cloud (RSC) team is seeking a Software Engineer to build secure, compliant cloud solutions for government and highly regulated markets. The role focuses on designing core services, developing automation tools, and ensuring compliance with stringent data sovereignty and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

Core Services Development: Design, implement, and maintain core services that support sovereign and regulatory cloud platform

Automation Development: Develop automation tools to improve efficiency, reliability, and security of systems while ensuring compliance

Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with other engineering teams to understand requirements and support specific compliance needs

Full Development Lifecycle: Contribute from initial design and planning to deployment, monitoring, and support in regulated environments

Troubleshooting and Debugging: Debug and resolve complex issues across various stack layers with focus on auditability and security

What we look for

Technical

Programming Language ProficiencySolid understanding of at least one programming language, with Go and Python preferred

Cloud Platform ExperienceFamiliarity with public cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and container technologies

Infrastructure as CodeKnowledge of IaC tools and practices for infrastructure management

Education

Computer Science DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Software Development2-4 years of experience in software development and system design

Cloud TechnologiesExperience working with cloud platforms and containerized applications

Regulatory ExperienceNice to have: Experience in regulated industries or with compliance standards
