The role

Summary

Join Snowflake's SnowCommand team as a Software Engineer to build a production gateway that enables safe, governed operations across enterprise systems. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement full-stack features using TypeScript and modern cloud technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to redefine how enterprises manage production metadata and workflows while driving impact through AI-native innovation.

What you'll do

Develop and refine critical production workflows: Design, implement, and optimize workflows that are essential to Snowflake's business operations, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability across production environments.
Design metrics and run experiments: Create comprehensive instrumentation and measurement strategies to validate product insights, measure feature impact, and drive data-informed decision-making across the platform.
Implement full-stack features across the technology stack: Build end-to-end features spanning TypeScript services hosted in Snowflake's cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-orchestrated deployments, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering disciplines to align on requirements, technical approaches, and delivery timelines.
Coordinate delivery of complex features: Lead initiatives that require close coordination with multiple partner teams across the organization, managing dependencies and ensuring successful cross-team execution.
Participate in product vision and team planning: Contribute technical perspective to product roadmap development, sprint planning, and architectural decisions that shape the future direction of SnowCommand.
Debug and troubleshoot production systems: Identify performance bottlenecks and reliability issues, instrument relevant system components, and implement solutions in cloud-native environments with rigorous testing and monitoring.
