The role
Summary
Platform Engineer II at Teamworks will own day-to-day operations of AWS GovCloud infrastructure supporting elite sports organizations, managing EKS clusters, RDS/Aurora, and IAM configurations. This collaborative role requires 3+ years of platform/DevOps engineering experience with strong Linux, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitLab CI proficiency to build scalable infrastructure, drive observability improvements using Datadog, and partner with application teams on compliance and stability enhancements.

Participate in on-call rotation with full production ownership. Develop deep incident response skills, learn from production scenarios, and continuously improve system resilience and observability through hands-on operational experience.
Industry-Specific Growth
Build expertise in government-regulated infrastructure and defense contracting sectors. Develop FedRAMP and IL4 compliance experience in a growing, mission-critical domain expanding into high-performance tactical environments.

Competitive Compensation Package
