Summary

Tennr is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to architect and optimize complex workflow automation systems in their healthcare technology platform. The ideal candidate will design scalable backend services, integrate machine learning infrastructure, and drive performance optimization across data processing systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that reduce patient referral delays.

What you'll do

Backend Architecture: Architect and implement end-to-end features across backend services and infrastructure, driving direct customer value
Workflow Automation: Lead high-volume workflow automation initiatives with focus on scalable data processing and machine learning infrastructure
Machine Learning Integration: Design and maintain complex workflows that leverage machine learning to drive automation and optimize performance
Performance Optimization: Drive scalability, reliability, and best practices optimization across all system layers
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and customer success teams to incorporate customer feedback and drive product improvements

What we look for

Technical

Backend Development5+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, with strong backend development skills
System ArchitectureProven experience in building scalable web applications, particularly in workflow automation and data processing
Machine LearningExperience integrating machine learning models into production environments and optimizing data pipelines

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred
