The role

Summary

Wealthsimple is seeking a Senior Software Developer for their Clients & Accounts Platform OpEx team, focusing on quality engineering and developer tooling. The role involves building critical infrastructure that enables engineering teams to ship code faster, more confidently, and with world-class reliability across Wealthsimple's financial technology platform.

What you'll do

Test Infrastructure: Architect and own CAP's end-to-end test suite across web and React Native mobile platforms
SDK Observability: Instrument Account-Opening SDK with standardized analytics events and structured logging
Test Account Management: Develop and evolve staging and production test account tooling for all Wealthsimple teams
Developer Automation: Build internal tools to reduce manual operational work, including feature flag cleanup and AI-powered workflows
Quality Engineering: Drive shift-left quality practices through mutation testing, code coverage improvements, and CI gates

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
