Summary

Zip is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager for Quality Assurance to lead and transform their QA team, focusing on developing robust testing strategies, managing deployment processes, and building a world-class quality assurance function within their innovative procurement platform.

What you'll do

QA Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive QA strategies, OKRs, and operational frameworks
Test Coverage Optimization: Improve test coverage through developing test cases, conducting root cause analyses, and performing exploratory testing
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to enhance testing environments and deployment processes
Team Development: Coach and grow QA team members, establish high-quality standards, and maintain team motivation

Test Automation ToolsProficiency in industry-standard test automation and CI/CD tools
Test Case DevelopmentHands-on experience in creating, executing, and managing comprehensive test cases
Deployment ProcessesUnderstanding of test pyramid layers and efficient deployment strategies

Education

Computer Science DegreeBS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

Experience

QA Management5+ years of quality assurance experience with 2+ years in team management

Offshore Vendor ManagementExperience managing offshore QA vendor relationships
