Summary

An Engineering Manager role at 1Password focused on leading the Console UI team, responsible for developing intuitive frontend interfaces for complex security and infrastructure capabilities. What you'll do

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performance team of frontend developers building core admin and developer-facing experiences for a strategic platform initiative
Strategic Planning: Define team mission and direction, translating company strategy into clear roadmaps and actionable execution plans
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Design, Identity, Security, and Backend teams to align roadmaps, manage dependencies, and build cohesive workflows
Technical Strategy: Establish and evolve frontend technical strategy in collaboration with senior and staff engineers
Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for usability, accessibility, performance, security, and long-term maintainability of frontend systems

UI/UX DesignStrong product and UX instincts, especially in translating complex technical systems into intuitive experiences

Education

Advanced DegreeBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Team ManagementExperience managing and mentoring frontend or full-stack developers in a product environment
Remote LeadershipExperience leading remote or distributed teams across multiple time zones
Delivery Track RecordProven history of delivering impactful user-facing features with predictable execution
