Summary

Airwallex is seeking an Engineering Lead/Manager for their Growth Team in San Francisco to drive user acquisition and market expansion through data-driven experimentation and scalable technical solutions. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with team management, requiring 8+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years of team management experience in growth-related technologies, APIs, and data pipelines.

What you'll do

Technical Leadership: Hands-on design, implement and deliver growth features that drive user acquisition and engagement

Product Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to analyze requirements and produce technical solutions and execution plans

Architecture Review: Analyze and validate technical design for software functions from the engineering team

Code Quality Management: Review code from team members and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices

Roadmap Execution: Engage with Product Managers to build backlogs that continuously contribute to roadmap execution

Team Development: Contributing to hiring, training and development of engineers within the managed team

Growth Experimentation: Lead A/B testing frameworks and experimentation platforms for conversion optimization

Data Infrastructure: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for user analytics and growth metrics

Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, analytics, and product teams to align growth initiatives

Performance Optimization: Optimize high-traffic user acquisition pages and onboarding flows for global scale
