Summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join their Identity and Access Management (IAM) team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will develop cutting-edge mobile solutions for payment experiences, architecting POS applications and SDKs that enable global merchant payment acceptance with a focus on native Android development.

What we look for

Technical

Android Development5+ years of professional Android application development
Native TechnologiesExpertise in native Android development using Kotlin and Java
ArchitectureProficiency in modern Android architecture components and design patterns

Education

Computer ScienceBS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical major

Experience

Mobile EngineeringProven track record of full-cycle product development in mobile applications
Enterprise ApplicationsExperience designing and implementing enterprise-grade mobile solutions

Skills

Required skills

KotlinStrong proficiency with Kotlin programming language
Android Development5+ years of Android development experience building production applications
Software DesignStrong foundation in software design principles and design patterns
Android ArchitectureDeep knowledge of Android architecture components and Jetpack libraries

Nice to have

SDK DevelopmentExperience developing and maintaining Android SDK libraries
Cross-PlatformFamiliarity with React Native or Flutter
