The role
Summary

What you'll do
Identity System Design: Design, implement and maintain identity and authentication systems including Okta and Google Workspace
Access Management: Manage and improve authentication policies, access controls and build strong access management policies
User Lifecycle Automation: Automate and orchestrate user lifecycles across systems and services from beginning to end
Project Leadership: Own full lifecycle of features and products from proof-of-concept to implementation, operations and maintenance
Escalation Handling: Handle technical escalations from IT teams and resolve complex system issues
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with INFOSEC, People Ops, Engineering and IT teams to build scalable systems
Platform Integration: Integrate tools with new and existing platforms including cloud, GCP, and SaaS portfolio
Custom Tool Development: Build and maintain custom tools or services to solve specific business problems
Incident Response: Respond to incidents as part of on-call roster and handle emergency situations
Documentation: Write technical documentation and maintain solution diagrams for clarity and understanding
IT Operations Support: Collaborate with IT Operations and Engineering teams on various projects and services
Continuous Improvement: Constantly learn, test, evaluate and enhance products and offerings

Okta Platform MasteryExpert level experience with Okta identity and access management platform
Programming SkillsExperience with Python programming language for automation and scripting
Infrastructure as CodeProficiency with Terraform and automation tools
Cloud InfrastructureExperience with AWS, GCP and other cloud platforms
Access Control SystemsUnderstanding of RBAC, ABAC, PBAC, ACLs and access management principles

Education
Bachelor's DegreeBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
