The role

Summary

Alan is seeking a Cloud Security Platform Engineer to join their Tech Foundations team, focusing on enhancing infrastructure security, developer productivity, and building robust cloud security solutions across their multi-cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills and a passion for creating secure, scalable infrastructure that enables product teams to innovate effectively.

What you'll do

Cloud Security Review: Review and audit privileges across cloud environments, ensuring proper CI, staging/production isolation, and IAM configurations
Secrets Management: Build and maintain a scalable secrets management infrastructure
Vulnerability Management: Own and manage the vulnerability backlog at the intersection of infrastructure and security
Security Tooling: Develop security tools that are seamless and transparent to engineers, implementing 'secure by default' principles
Remediation Strategy: Close the gap between security findings and their effective remediation

What we look for

Technical

Cloud Security Expertise3+ years of experience at the intersection of Cloud and Infrastructure Security domains
Backend DevelopmentAbility to read, review, and improve security-related code
Security ToolingExperience with security services, tools, and best practices

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Cloud SecurityProven experience with Cloud Security first approaches to software development
Infrastructure SecurityDemonstrated ability to work on platform-wide security improvements
