Summary

Alan is seeking a talented Full-stack Software Engineer to join their innovative Tech Foundations team, focusing on AI developer tools and engineering infrastructure. The ideal candidate will help build cutting-edge platforms that enable AI-native engineering workflows, with a focus on creating tools that empower both engineers and non-engineers to contribute effectively.

What you'll do

AI Developer Tools Development: Build and enhance Hopper, Alan's background coding agent, including agent orchestration and parallel agent pools
Infrastructure Engineering: Create sandboxed development environments and CI/CD quality guardrails to improve engineering workflows
AI-Native Engineering Enablement: Develop tools and infrastructure to support autonomous testing and AI-assisted coding processes
Platform Experience Design: Create intuitive interfaces and tools that enable non-engineer contributors like Designers and Product Managers

What we look for

Technical

Full-stack DevelopmentProven experience in full-stack software engineering with 3+ years of professional experience
Programming LanguagesStrong proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience in Flask and React
AI TechnologiesExperience with LLM APIs, agent orchestration frameworks, or AI-assisted coding tools

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field

Experience

Platform DevelopmentExperience building internal platforms, frameworks, CLIs, or libraries that improve developer workflows
AI IntegrationPractical experience in integrating AI technologies into engineering processes
