The role

Summary

Alan is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to design and own their critical billing platform, which powers healthcare services across multiple European countries. The ideal candidate will build scalable, reliable systems that process thousands of transactions daily, working on complex distributed systems that support the company's global health insurance expansion.

What you'll do

Billing Platform Development: Build and maintain the core billing engine capable of processing thousands of transactions daily with high precision and reliability
System Architecture: Design modular, reusable billing primitives and abstractions that can scale across different products and regions
Integration Management: Integrate with payment gateways, partner APIs, and internal systems across multiple countries
Workflow Automation: Develop and automate billing schedules and workflows to support multi-country operations
System Reliability: Ensure system reliability, accuracy, and operational excellence in billing processes

What we look for

Technical

Programming LanguagesProficiency in OOP languages such as Python, Java, or C#
Web TechnologiesExperience with full-stack development using Python/Flask and React
Database ManagementStrong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design principles

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Backend DevelopmentProven experience in backend or full-stack software engineering
