The role

Summary

Alan is seeking a Security Software Engineer to join their Tech Foundations team, focusing on building foundational security components for their healthcare technology platform. The ideal candidate will design and implement secure-by-default systems that protect sensitive health data while maintaining exceptional user experience across Alan's healthcare insurance and services ecosystem.

What you'll do

Authentication Architecture: Design and implement advanced authentication systems, focusing on passwordless technologies and high-availability identity management
Encryption Solutions: Develop and operate end-to-end encryption components for secure health data transmission
Security Platforms: Build and evolve secure file exchange platforms and medical data enclaves
Security Engineering Practices: Enhance security engineering practices including vulnerability management, infrastructure security, and AI/LLM security
Secure Product Development: Create reusable security patterns, libraries, and abstractions to prevent vulnerabilities at scale

Education

Computer ScienceDegree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field preferred

Experience
