The role

Summary

Alan is seeking a Security Software Engineer for its Tech Foundations team, focusing on building foundational security components and secure-by-default patterns. The ideal candidate will help protect sensitive health data, design core security infrastructure, and contribute to evolving Alan's security engineering practices across authentication, encryption, and secure platforms.

What you'll do

Authentication Infrastructure: Design and operate authentication stack, focusing on passwordless solutions with excellent user experience
Encryption Systems: Build and maintain end-to-end encryption components for secure health data transmission
Security Platforms: Develop and enhance secure file exchange platforms and medical data enclaves
Security Engineering Practices: Contribute to improving security vulnerabilities, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure security
