The role

Summary

Assured is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to help modernize insurance claims processing through innovative B2B SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will drive technical direction, build end-to-end systems, and contribute to scalable platform improvements that transform how insurers manage claims processing.

What you'll do

Full Stack Development: Work across the entire technology stack, developing backend APIs, infrastructure, and frontend interfaces while launching and iterating on core product features.
Technical Leadership: Define technical direction, mentor engineering team members, and contribute to architectural and process improvements that enhance developer velocity and system reliability.
Product Collaboration: Translate product ideas into intuitive, performant experiences by closely collaborating with product and design teams, ensuring user-centered solutions.
Feature Lifecycle Management: Own the complete feature lifecycle from initial concept and mockup through deployment, continuous iteration, and ongoing optimization.

Education

DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Professional Experience8+ years of hands-on engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or large-scale web application environments
Technical MentorshipExperience in leading and mentoring other engineers, elevating team's technical capabilities

Full Stack DevelopmentComprehensive expertise in developing both backend and frontend systems
TypeScriptStrong proficiency in TypeScript for both frontend and backend development
