Clipboard Health is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join their globally distributed, remote team. The role focuses on building scalable, performant web applications using modern JavaScript technologies, with opportunities to make meaningful impact in healthcare staffing solutions. What you'll do

Code Development: Build and maintain frontend features using TypeScript, React, and modern web technologies with a focus on scalability and performance
Full Software Development Lifecycle: Own projects from problem definition through development, testing, deployment, and production support using trunk-based development methodology
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and end-users to understand healthcare industry challenges and develop user-centric solutions
Remote Team Participation: Effectively communicate in a globally distributed team, embracing asynchronous work and maintaining clear, proactive communication
Customer Support: Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems and gain insights into delivering reliable, high-quality services

Technical

Frontend TechnologiesStrong proficiency in TypeScript, React, JavaScript with understanding of modern frontend development practices
Backend TechnologiesFamiliarity with Node.js, NestJS, and server-side JavaScript frameworks
Cloud TechnologiesBasic understanding of AWS services, ECS, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform

Education

Computer Science/Software EngineeringBachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience in software development

Experience

Professional Software Development1-3 years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code
