The role

Summary

Cohere is seeking a highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer specializing in Infrastructure to lead enterprise AI platform deployments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for seamless implementation of Cohere's North platform in complex enterprise environments, focusing on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and cross-functional collaboration in the Middle East region.

What you'll do

Enterprise Platform Deployment: Lead end-to-end deployment of Cohere's North AI platform in private cloud and on-premises environments, including comprehensive planning, configuration, testing, and rollout strategies.
Infrastructure Assessment: Collaborate with enterprise IT teams to evaluate infrastructure requirements, security protocols, and data management practices for AI platform integration.
Deployment Strategy Development: Design and implement customized deployment approaches that ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards across diverse organizational environments.
Technical Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex deployment-related technical challenges, providing rapid solutions to minimize system downtime and ensure smooth AI platform implementation.
User Enablement: Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to empower enterprise users in effectively leveraging North's AI capabilities.

What we look for

Technical

Cloud InfrastructureAdvanced expertise in cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with proven experience in complex enterprise deployments.
Kubernetes ManagementDemonstrated proficiency in administering production Kubernetes clusters and advanced Helm chart implementation.
DevOps PracticesStrong understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipeline design, and version control using Git and related tools.

Education

Technical DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Experience

Enterprise Software DeploymentMinimum 3 years of experience deploying enterprise software in private and hybrid cloud environments.
Cross-Functional CollaborationProven track record of successful engagement with diverse IT teams and stakeholders in enterprise technology implementations.
