Cohere is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer specializing in Infrastructure for the Public Sector, focusing on deploying secure AI solutions using North, their enterprise AI workspace platform. The role involves working closely with public sector clients to implement cutting-edge AI technologies while maintaining high security and compliance standards.

What you'll do

AI Solution Deployment: Lead end-to-end deployment of North platform in private cloud and on-premises environments
Client Collaboration: Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security requirements, and data management practices
Deployment Strategy: Design and implement customized deployment strategies ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards
Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related technical issues to minimize system downtime
Rapid Experimentation: Engage in high-velocity problem solving to deliver exceptional solutions for clients

Cloud PlatformsAdvanced knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud infrastructure
ContainerizationExpert-level Kubernetes and Helm configuration
DevOps ToolsProficiency in CI/CD pipelines and version control systems

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Infrastructure Deployment5+ years of experience in enterprise software deployment and infrastructure management
Cloud ArchitectureProven track record of designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions

KubernetesProven experience administering production Kubernetes clusters
