Summary

Cursor is seeking a Data Scientist to join their AI coding automation platform, focusing on building data programs at scale while working with billions of user-AI interactions. What you'll do

Strategic Partnership: Partner with area leads to shape data-informed decisions across the business

Metrics Ownership: Define, track, and own critical metrics like power usage and user satisfaction that multiple teams and leadership depend on

Experiment Management: Run experiments end-to-end including design, analysis, and translation into clear product recommendations

Data Infrastructure: Build pipelines, dashboards, and analyses that make self-serve insights accessible and trustworthy

Data Culture Development: Establish data culture and foundations as an early member of the data team

AI Data Program: Help build an AI data program operating at incredible scale with billions of user-AI interactions

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work directly with founders and area leads to turn data into actionable strategy
