The role

Summary

Deel is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer with a React.JS focus for their global, remote-first team in Brazil. The ideal candidate will develop high-quality web applications, own full-stack development across client, server, and database, and contribute to Deel's mission of transforming global work infrastructure.

What you'll do

Full-Stack Development: Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express across client, server, service, and database layers.

API Development: Design and implement server-side APIs, data models, and business logic primarily using the Express framework.

Component Development: Create client-side function-based React components, hooks, stories, and tests with a focus on code reusability and scalability.

Database Management: Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions with PostgreSQL.

Quality Assurance: Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software deliverables.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging web development trends and contribute to improving development processes and methodologies.

What we look for

Technical

Programming LanguagesExpert-level TypeScript and JavaScript development with at least 4 years of Full-Stack experience

Web TechnologiesProficient in React, Express, NestJS, Vite, and Next.js

Database SkillsAdvanced PostgreSQL database design and query optimization

Education

DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Full-Stack DevelopmentMinimum 4 years of full-stack development experience with a strong focus on TypeScript

SaaS ExperiencePreferred experience with SaaS products running 24/7 on major cloud platforms
