Summary

Deel is seeking a Head of Engineering (FinTech Platform) to lead the development of a sophisticated global financial infrastructure, driving the company's mission to revolutionize global payroll and payments. The role is critical in building scalable, compliant, and AI-powered financial systems that support Deel's rapid growth and IPO readiness.

What you'll do

Technical Strategy: Define and execute the technical strategy for Deel's financial infrastructure

Team Leadership: Build and scale high-performing engineering teams across multiple domains

AI Governance: Implement AI systems with strong guardrails, auditability, and risk management

Compliance Management: Ensure systems meet regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions

Cross-Functional Alignment: Drive collaboration between Engineering, Product, Finance, and Compliance teams
