Summary

Deel is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead in Spain to drive technical excellence and lead a cross-functional team of 6-10 professionals. The ideal candidate will balance technical leadership and hands-on development, focusing on scalable solutions in a fast-growing global SaaS platform that transforms how companies manage international workforce management.

What you'll do

Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical leader combining hands-on development with strategic team oversight, designing and delivering high-quality, scalable applications

Team Development: Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and foster professional growth while managing performance cycles

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on goals and drive complex projects

Technical Strategy: Define and implement technical strategies aligned with organizational objectives, focusing on innovation and long-term system health

Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews, ensure best practices in development, testing, and deployment, and maintain high coding standards
