Summary

Deel is seeking an experienced Team Lead for its Engineering team, focusing on Node.js development. The role requires a strategic technical leader who can balance hands-on coding (50%) with team leadership (50%), driving technical excellence and innovation in a fast-growing global SaaS platform that transforms workforce management.

What you'll do

Technical Leadership: Provide strategic technical direction while maintaining hands-on development responsibilities

Team Development: Mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning

System Design: Design and implement scalable Node.js applications with high-performance architecture

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and other engineering teams to align technical strategies

Node.js ExpertiseMinimum 10 years of professional software engineering experience with deep Node.js knowledge

System ArchitectureProven track record of building scalable, robust distributed systems

Education
