The role

Summary

Hopper is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their innovative Fintech team, focusing on building highly scalable backend systems for travel technology solutions. The role involves developing microservices architecture for Hopper's B2B platform (HTS), working with cutting-edge technologies to power fintech products for global travel partners.

What you'll do

Microservices Development: Design and build core systems within a microservices architecture, focusing on high availability and global scalability for travel fintech products
Feature Iteration: Develop and iterate on features using agile methodologies, contributing to Hopper's B2B technology solutions
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Frontend Engineers, and other specialists to drive innovative solutions
System Integration: Integrate backend systems with major travel companies, airlines, and financial institutions through Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS)
Performance Optimization: Ensure high-performance, scalable, and maintainable code that supports Hopper's global travel platform

Cloud TechnologiesExtensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Programming LanguagesProficiency in Scala and React (prior experience beneficial but not mandatory)

Education

Technical DegreeBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred
