Summary

Hopper is seeking a Senior Front-end Engineer for their LATAM Core team, focusing on building sophisticated, scalable white-label travel commerce platforms. The role requires an expert React and TypeScript developer who can architect high-performance web applications that serve over 400 million global travelers, with a strong emphasis on autonomous innovation and cross-functional impact.

What you'll do

Frontend Architecture: Design and implement scalable, multi-tenant travel portal frontend systems
Performance Optimization: Ensure high-performance, responsive web applications that handle millions of users
Product Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to drive user experience innovations
Systems Integration: Integrate frontend systems with backend Scala services and fintech platforms

What we look for

Technical

React ExpertiseMinimum 4-5 years of professional React development experience
TypeScript MasteryAdvanced understanding of TypeScript type systems and best practices
Web PerformanceProven track record of optimizing frontend performance and user experience

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
